Factory Operations
The green tea leaf is collected in our fleet of vehicles and brought to our factory to begin the process of turning this fresh leaf tea into a product that is packed and distributed. The main processes are:
Green leaf reception
& withering
When the collection lorries arrive, the bags of green leaf are reweighed to verify the field weights. One of the aims of the manufacturing process is to reduce the tea’s moisture content in a controlled manner. The first stage of the process is to wither the green leaf.
